This is the last home on the 1/3 mile drive. Situated on the end of the peninsula there are only two homes that can be seen from the deck. With not quite half of the lake undeveloped this is a perfect retreat when looking for quiet together time. Our Neighborhood: We are close to Mercer, Manitowish Waters, Turtle Flambeau Flowage, and Park Falls. Ten minutes away is the Turtle Flambeau Flowage, considered the most pristine body of water in Wisconsin. Within a 30-minute radius you will find: •Canoeing, Tubing, and Pontoon Rentals •Turtle Flambeau Flowage (great fishing) •Shopping, bars, and restaurants • Snowshoe & Cross country ski trails •ATV and snowmobile trails (access trails from the cabin) •Hiking, Nature Trails, Bike Trails •Beaches & Lakes •Lake of the Torches Casino •North Lakeland Discovery Center •Historical Attractions •Farmer’s Markets, Art Fairs & Festivals, Free Concerts •"Little Bohemia" for you John Dillinger fans! Yes...scenes from the movie Public Enemy starring Johnny Depp were indeed filmed here! Choose your activities. Or lack there of! Relax and slow down. In the summer: a minimum 5-night booking.
