The Lily Pad on Muskie Lake in Springstead is in the heart of the Northwoods. Come relax, slow down, and recharge. Muskie Lake is a private lake that is almost 100 acres. In the summer we have kayaks and in the winter we are less than a mile from Trail 8 and 8a. There are 7 restaurants within 13 miles, thousands of acres of water, millions of acres of woodlands, XC trails galore, 10 waterfalls in Iron Co, 7 ski hills within 90 minutes, or curl up in the newly remodeled cabin and unwind.

The Lily Pad is a very peaceful and quiet cottage located on Muskie Lake. The surrounding area offers many activities for the outdoor enthusiast. After a day exploring the North woods, enjoy all the comforts the Lily Pad has to offer. TV, Wifi and a cozy indoor electric fireplace make this cottage a place to relax after a day of exploring. Or, if you prefer, hang out at the fire pit or try your luck fishing off the dock. With plenty of outdoor elbow room (4.5 acres) and over 450 feet of lake frontage, the Lily Pad has something for everyone . Ten minutes away is the Turtle Flambeau Flowage, considered the most pristine body of water in Wisconsin. The Lily Pad was modern but cozy and very private. The cabin was spotless and the view upon opening the front door was just beautiful. The communication with Brian was the best we have ever had with Air B & B. He was friendly, courteous, and made sure that we knew exactly what we needed to bring ahead of time. The washer and dryer were clean and so helpful to have. The restaurant recommendations were also appreciated! We were grateful for access to the kayaks and we were the only ones out on the lake. The bed and linens were warm and comfortable and the shower provided plenty of hot water for showers after long days outside exploring. The location is about 2 hours from Bayfield and little over an hour to our favorite spot to go rock hunting on the Lake Superior Shoreline. My favorite thing to do though was sit on the cozy sofa with coffee, just relaxing. We ordered muffins from Dawn and they were so good! Definitely a highlight of the trip. Thanks for everything!!!

I had a fantastic stay at Lily Pad The place was spotless, beautifully maintained, and exactly as described. The location was perfect. It was quiet yet close to everything I needed. Brian was an exceptional host as he was responsive, thoughtful, and made sure we had everything for a comfortable stay.

Really great place to stay for 2 nites. We would have loved to stay longer! Kayaked and swam in the lake. Did a great hike near by. Saw lots of wild life. There were two of us and we each got our own room. Could have easily accommodated a family of 4 with fully equipped kitchen and outdoor grill.

This is our 3rd year staying at the Lily Pad; that should tell you how much we like this place. Opening the front door and stepping in, the cabin and lake just welcome you with a friendly hug; warmly inviting you to unplug and soak up nature. The peacefulness and up north beauty are just perfect for unwinding and relaxing. Our host Brian is super responsive and friendly; making the whole process so easy. And a special shout out to Dawn - once again the muffins are delicious. I highly recommend the Lily Pad!

Quiet, clean, great view a of a very peacful quiet lake, comfy beds and a ktichen that had everything we needed, large bathroom, great tasteing water, and enough things to do and places to eat in every direction from the cabin. A very peaceful retreat. I can't think of one thing I needed or that I would ask for the host to do different. The ice maker was great and all the appliances were top notch. The loons were calling everyday....loved our stay.
